Christmas Village Stand
$45.00
This laser-cut Christmas village street is an expansive, multi-layered holiday display featuring a scenic row of four connected gingerbread-style cottages. Crafted from smooth MDF wood, the completed village measures approximately 17.5″ wide by 7″ high, making it a striking panoramic centerpiece for tables, mantels, or windowsills.
Structure & Assembly
The project is split across two sheets of laser-cut pieces and uses an extra-wide rectangular base with four alignment slots. The design relies on a layered “sandwich” construction that builds out three-dimensional depth across the entire block:
- Background Layer: A single, continuous silhouette mapping out the basic shapes of all four buildings, featuring cutouts for the windows and a central heart-shaped door.
- Midground Facades: Independent facade cutouts for the white-painted houses (the far-left house and the third house in the row). These overlay panels elevate those specific structures forward to break up the flat plane.
- Foreground Overlays & Trims: A collection of highly detailed structural add-ons, including window pane frames for the upper levels, scalloped awning pieces, two distinct textured roof overlays (a scalloped tile pattern and an intricate crisscross latticework), and a set of chimneys with snowy caps.
Decorative Details
The village is packed with delicate, festive motifs that bring the streetscape to life:
- Holiday Greenery: Three finely detailed circular wreaths with tiny separate bows to accent the house fronts, along with dangling scalloped garlands to trim the rooflines.
- Landscaping: A pair of small, standalone evergreen pine trees designed to frame the main arched doorway of the second cottage.
- Architectural Accents: Detailed window frame overlays, a heart frame for the main door, and multi-flue chimney tops that give each building a unique, individual personality.
